THE DESTINATION

London’s a dream setting for street and city photography. This workshop will bring you to the best spots to capture London’s magic, and allow you to improve your photography skills at the same time. To ensure interesting light conditions and optimal photographic opportunities, we’ll start shooting at dusk and finish after dawn. It’s a long day, but worth it when you get to photograph the sun setting over London’s skyline!

This whole day is designed to bring out the best photographer in you, while at the same time enjoying London’s city scenes through your lens. You’ll learn about a large range of technical issues, and Ben will also touch on the more creative side of choosing the best composition. This photography workshop is perfectly suitable for photographers of all levels.

YOUR DAY ITINERARY

5 - 8 am

To make full use of the first warm light in the morning, we’ll start the day early. While the city awakes, we will capture some of its iconic highlights, such as Westminster, Tower Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and the London Eye.

8 am - 3pm

This is a flexible time in our schedule, where we will explore everyone’s questions, put into practise what we’re learning, and photograph different assignments that Ben will guide.

3 - 5pm

We’ll give our feet a bit of a break during a sit-down session, where Ben will give a tutorial on post-production. You’ll also have a chance to present your previous work, so that Ben can offer some further feedback and tips.

5 - 8 pm

To make use of that warm light again, this time at dusk, we’ll continue to photograph London’s celebrated architecture and its interesting street scenes.
