Greenland, the world’s largest island, is a land of extremes – where ice, water, and light create a photographer’s paradise. From snow-capped landscapes to dramatic fjords and glaciers, Greenland offers some of the planet’s most breathtaking views.
Join us to explore some of Greenland’s rugged and raw nature during a photo tour based in Disko Bay. Nestled on the western coast, above the Arctic Circle, this town is surrounded by icebergs, deep-blue waters, and marine wildlife. This offers the perfect base for us to explore Greenland’s natural wonders by boat. Every day, when the golden light is at its most magical, we’ll embark a comfortable sailing boat to photograph icebergs, fjords, and – if we’re lucky – humpback whales and other marine wildlife.
A highlight of this tour is shooting under the midnight sun- where the soft, golden light bathes the landscape for hours, perfect for capturing the Icefjord’s icebergs and coastal cliffs, reflected in the calm water. The long, vibrant sunsets and sunrises will allow us to photograph well into the night.
This photography tour is designed for all levels of experience, whether you’re a seasoned pro or an enthusiastic beginner. With expert guidance from award-winning photographers, we’ll explore Greenland and capture some of the world’s natural wonders.

Our home base for the tour will be a comfortable and welcoming 4-star hotel in Ilulissat, where you’ll enjoy modern amenities, local food, and stunning views of the surrounding area. After a full day of photography, relax in comfort and enjoy the cozy Greenlandic atmosphere, with easy access to Ilulissat’s colorful houses, bustling fish markets, and historic dog sleds. Ilulissat is a welcoming town with plenty of things to do - if you're keen to explore in between our sailing expeditions. The town is photogenic in its own right; it has iconic colourful houses typical to Greenland, and stunning views of the icefjord.
Vincenzo Mazza
Vincenzo is a nature and landscape photographer. He has been doing landscape photography since 2010, mostly between Italy and Iceland. Born in Italy he moved to Iceland in 2015, after spending many months in that country during the years before to practice landscape photography.
Siggi Brynjarsson
Sigurður William Brynjarsson, known as Siggi, is an Icelandic photographer and tour guide. Self-taught, he emphasizes connecting with nature and others through his work. Siggi has authored a book on photographing the Northern Lights and has been leading photography workshops in Iceland since 2012.
Raymond Hoffmann
Raymond is an award-winning photographer with a worldwide reputation. Known for his magnificent landscape photos, his career took off in 2011, when he was voted as ‘Best Nature Photographer’ by one of Europe’s largest online photo communities.
Albert Dos
Albert is a landscape photographer from the Netherlands. He is recognized for his meticulous approach to capturing the beauty of natural and urban environments. Albert's work has been featured in various international publications, and he offers workshops and tutorials to share his expertise with aspiring photographers.
Armand Sarlangue
Armand is a French photographer with over 16 years of experience. Specializing in landscape photography, he believes in using his art to raise awareness about conservation. His images have received numerous awards and have been exhibited internationally.
This trip is limited to a small group to ensure personalized instruction and exclusive access to Greenland’s remote locations. Traveling in a compact group allows for flexible shooting schedules and one-on-one guidance from professional photographers.
The tour includes boat rides through iceberg-filled fjords and scenic drives across Greenland’s rugged terrain. These transport options are timed to maximize photographic opportunities in remote, dramatic landscapes.
You’ll explore landscape, documentary, and environmental portrait photography in Arctic settings. The tour emphasizes storytelling through images of icebergs, Inuit culture, and vast wilderness.
Participants should pack warm layers, waterproof outerwear, and sturdy boots suitable for Arctic conditions. A DSLR or mirrorless camera with wide-angle and telephoto lenses is recommended for capturing Greenland’s vast scenery.
You’ll receive expert instruction from professional photographers throughout the trip, with tips on composition, lighting, and storytelling. The small group format ensures personalized feedback and support in every location.
