A Women-Only Photo Safari in Botswana

Photography, Wildlife & Connection

Imagine: your camera in your hands, sunrise-game drives, silence broken only by calls of the wild. Just wild animals, wildlife photographer Charlotte Arthun, and a group of women who understand what it means to chase light. We’re excited to introduce a new all-women photography safari to Botswana, designed for female photographers who want to combine wildlife, learning, and adventure in a supportive small-group setting.

Why a Women-Only Safari?

While photography safaris are already a collaborative and creative experience, there’s something powerful about an all-female group. Many of our participants have told us that they feel more at ease, more supported, and more encouraged to experiment with their photography when traveling with other women.

A women-only safari creates:

  • A supportive learning environment — where participants feel comfortable asking questions and trying new techniques.
  • Shared experiences — traveling with others who understand the challenges and joys of photography.
  • A focus on collaboration over competition — creating space to grow skills together.

For photographers at all levels, this kind of setting can make a real difference in both confidence and creativity.

What to Expect in Botswana

This safari takes place in Botswana’s Tuli Block, a region known for its dramatic rock formations, wide-open landscapes, and rich wildlife. It’s home to elephants, big cats, diverse birdlife, and countless opportunities to capture striking images.

Highlights include:

  • Daily game drives and guided walks to photograph wildlife in different light and settings.
  • Exclusive use of a private tented camp, ensuring a quiet, immersive experience in the wilderness.
  • Small group size — with a maximum of six participants, you’ll get individual guidance and plenty of space for creativity.
  • Photography workshops and feedback sessions with Charlotte, tailored to your level and interests.

Whether you’re interested in wildlife action shots, landscape photography, or storytelling through images, this safari is designed to give you both variety and depth.
