The national currency of Malawi is the Malawi Kwacha (MWK).

Malawi is a sub-tropical climate, meaning you’ll experience a cooler, dry season and hot, wet season throughout the year.

The official language of Malawi is English, but the national language is Chichewa, which is a native language spoken by over half the population. Additionally, there are a host of other native languages that are spoken in the country, but many of its citizens also speak English.

Malawi is great to visit any time of the year. However, the dry season offers cooler weather, sunnier days, and breezier evenings compared to the summer season. The dry season runs from May to October, with the wet season occurring from November to April.
